Play is a child’s natural language, and toys are their words.
As a Registered Play Therapist, I help children and teens navigate big emotions, trauma, and identity in a way that feels safe and honoring.
Rather than trying to "fix" anyone, I partner with kids and the adults in their world to build attachment, connection, and resilience.
As the current President of the Utah Association for Play Therapy (UAPT) and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S™), my practice is grounded in the formal APT-recognized theories of play including Attachment Centered, Adlerian Play, Prescriptive, Gestalt Play, and Playful EMDR approaches. By integrating these theoretical frameworks with the 20 Therapeutic Powers of Play, I help children and families leverage imagination, mastery, attachment, and emotional expression to drive deep, lasting healing.
I integrate both directive and non-directive methods to balance structure with freedom.
Sessions are tailored to each child’s developmental stage and needs. Parents dare active partners in the process, learning strategies and insights that continue the healing at home.
